「LGD Gaming」が「Topson」をMidレーナーに緊急起用、公式世界大会『The International 2026』

「LGD Gaming」が、『Dota 2』公式世界大会『The International 2026』で「TaiLung」選手に代わり「Topson」をMidレーナーに緊急起用することを発表しました。

公式大会目前でMidレーナーを変更した理由

「LGD Gaming」でMidレーナーを務める「TaiLung」選手が競技の公正性に関わる可能性のある問題に関係しているとの情報が確認され、『The International 2026』の出場が認められない状況となりました。

Midレーナーの変更を余儀なくされた「LGD Gaming」は、「Topson」選手の起用を発表しました。

「Topson」選手は2018年と2019年に公式大会を連覇し、2024年に引退していました。

2026年は『The International 2026』のオープン予選に挑戦しながら配信活動を行なっており、トップティアの大会に出場するのは数年ぶりとなります。

「LGD Esports Clubは、Dota 2部門Tailung選手が競技の公正性に関わる可能性がある問題に関する情報を把握しました。

この情報を受け取った後、クラブは直ちに内部調査を開始し、本件についてその時点で入手可能だった情報とともに、関係する大会主催者へ自主的に報告しました。その後も、大会主催者による調査にも全面的に協力し要請に応じて情報を提供してきました。

調査の結果、大会主催者より本件に関する処分が決定されました。

Tailung選手は、『The International 2026』への出場が認められず、大会を運営する『PGL』はTailung選手に対してPGLが主催するすべての大会への永久出場禁止処分を科しました。

LGDは大会主催者の決定を尊重し、適用される大会規則および要件に従って、必要な事後手続きを行なっていきます。

「公正な競争」と「競技の公正性」はプロeスポーツの根幹であり、LGDが今後も守り続ける重要な原則となります。

競技の公正性に関する懸念が生じた場合、LGDは事実と証拠に基づいて適切かつ迅速に対応し、大会主催者へ関連情報を速やかに報告するとともに、その後の調査や関連手続きに全面的に協力していきます。

LGDのDota 2部門は、予定どおり『The International 2026』に向けた準備を続けています。

大会主催者によって特例でロスター変更を承認され、Midレーナー交代に関する最終調整と必要な手続きを進めています。

新たなミッドレーナーと『The International 2026』に出場するLGDの最終ロスターは、確定次第発表します。
