Counter-Strikeメジャー大会の所属リージョン変更に関するルール改定が行なわれました。

追加された要項

A roster is only eligible for a Regional Assignment if they did not appear in any other region’s VRS list in the preceding three calendar months.

ロスターがリージョン割り当ての対象となるのは、直前3ヶ月の間に他リージョンのVRSリストに掲載されていない場合のみとする。

改定の背景

2026年後期メジャー大会『PGL Singapore Major 2026』の出場チームは、2026年11月2日付のランキングを基に決定されます。

ヨーロッパリージョンに所属していた「BC.Game Esports」と「Sashi Esports」は、メジャー出場権獲得の確率を上げるためにメンバー変更を行ない所属リージョンをアジアに切り替えました。

この戦略にはコミュニティから反発が多く、Valveに対策を求める声も上がっていました。

10月5日に更新されたばかりのアジアのランキングはそのままで、今回の改訂に合わせたアップデートは実施されていません。
