アメリカを拠点とするプロeスポーツチーム「Evil Geniuses」が、2026年11月2日(月)をもって競技活動および事業運営を終了すると発表しました。

Evil Geniusesは、2026年11月2日をもって競技活動および日々の事業運営を停止します。

ここ数年、Evil Geniusesの運営方針を再構築し、再び立ち直らせるために全力を尽くしてきました。

運営を安定させ、世間からの信頼を回復し、ファンとの交流や活動実績を拡大させると同時に、新たなゲームタイトルへの進出やクリエイター陣の拡充も進めてきました。

残念ながら、スポンサーシップの機会が限られていることやトップレベルで戦い続けるためのコスト増大など、eスポーツ業界は依然として厳しい逆風にさらされています。

継続的な投資とEvil Geniusesチームの努力にもかかわらず、現在の環境下で事業を責任持って継続することは不可能という結論に至りました。

秩序ある形で事業を段階的に終了し、影響を受けるすべての選手、コーチ、スタッフと密に連携して対応していきます。

競技面においては、本日より全部門の選手が他の組織と自由に交渉可能となります。

VALORANT部門の選手およびコーチは、2026年シーズンが終了する11月2日以降、新たなチームと契約することが可能になります。
