「BetBoom Team」Dota 2部門、一時活動休止へ

「BetBoom Team」が、Dota 2部門の活動を一時休止すると発表しました。

「現在の競技成績は、掲げる目標や組織が目指していく方向性に見合うものではありません。

4年前、BetBoom Teamの歴史はDota 2から始まりました。

以降、多くの経験をともにしてきました。大きな勝利や悔しい敗北、世界各地での大会に出場、トロフィー獲得、ロスター変更など、数え切れないほどの出来事がBetBoom Teamの歴史の一部となりました。

本日、今後の展開を検討するために一時活動休止を決定しました。

ロスターの全選手は活動休止状態となります。
これはお別れではありません。今後の展開にご期待ください！」

「BetBoom Team」は、2026年4月の『PGL Wallachia Season 8』優勝、7月の『Esports World Cup 2026』準優勝、8月の『The International 2026』では4位という好成績を残していました。

一方、9月のロスター変更後は『BLAST Slam VIII』で9-12位、『PARI Universe』で9-10位と苦戦しました。

活動休止の具体的な判断基準は明らかにされていませんが、世界大会で上位に入っていたチームだけに、今回の決定は意外な印象です。
