KDDI株式会社が、eスポーツ施設「esports Style UENO」を2024年2月にオープンすると発表しました。

主な特徴
- 高速10Gbpsの固定回線 – KDDIのインターネット網へ直接接続
- 「ASUS ROG」ブランドのゲーミングPC、周辺機器を採用
- 大型294インチの高精細LEDビジョンあり、最大140名規模のパプリックビューイング等を実施可能
KDDIは、「au」ブランドを通じてプロeスポーツチーム「DetonatioN FocusMe」や、大会・施設のスポンサード・支援を通じてeスポーツに関与しています。
近年は、パブリックビューイングやファンミーティグの開催機会が増えています。
場所が上野駅、御徒町駅が最寄りとなっていてアクセスしやすいため、「esports Style UENO」での実施を期待出来そうです。
ちなみに、「esports Style UENO」公式サイトのドメインは「esports.au.com」となっており、KDDIが力を入れているのを感じます。
