『Intel Extreme Masters Cologne 2025』で優勝したTeam SpiritのVLOGが公開され、その中でdonk選手が決勝前日に眠れない状態だったというエピソードを披露していました。

『Intel Extreme Masters Cologne』は、『ESL Pro Tour Counter-Strike 2』の最上位大会「Championship」として実施された大会です。
長い歴史を持ち、この大会のタイトルを獲得することはCounter-Strikeプレイヤーにとって非常に名誉なことです。
donk選手は、子供の頃に『IEM Cologne』でトロフィーを掲げる選手の姿を見て、自分もいつか同じようにトロフィーを掲げたいと夢見ていたそうです。そしてついにそのチャンスが目前となり、前日は眠れない状態になったとのことでした。
最終的に、donk選手は圧倒的な活躍を見せてTeam Spiritの優勝に貢献し、大会MVPに選出されました。

本当に勝ちたかったからだと思う
小さい頃、Ninjas in PyjamasやFnaticがIEMのトロフィーを掲げるのを見てきたから

IEMのトロフィーは本当に格好良いし
自分も掲げることを夢見てきた
今日は夢を実現するチャンスだった
試合前はよく眠れなくて
ベッドに横になってとにかく集中しようと思った
こんな気持ちになったのは半年近くティア1トーナメントで勝てていなかったからだと思う
BLAST Bountyは勝ったけど
IEM Cologneは特別なんだ
負け続けた後で、名誉ある大会
しかもずっと掲げたいと思っていたトロフィーがかかっていた
だから本当に勝ちたかった
そんな気持ちになったのは初めてだった
