Riot Gamesが、TALON Esportsとのパートナー契約を終了したことを発表しました。

契約終了の理由

リーグの基準を満たすレベルでのチームの運営とマネジメントを行えていないため
選手への支払い遅延などが発生している状況
改善に向けた猶予期間が与えられたが、基準を満たす運営ができると証明できなかった
2026年シーズンのLeague of LegendsおよびVALORANT公式リーグには出場せず
Riot Gamesは代替となるチームを選考し、改めて発表予定

ライアットゲームズがTALON EsportsとのVCT Pacificに関するパートナーシップ契約を解消
VCT Pacificに関するアップデート
ライアットゲームズは、TALON EsportsとのVALORANT Champions Tourに関するパートナーシップ契約を解消し、当該チームをVCT Pacificから抹消することを決定いたしました。これはTALONがリーグの基準を満たすレベルでのチームの運営とマネジメントを行えていない（これには選手への支払いの大幅な遅延や、VCTへの参加を継続できるだけの十分な財務能力があることを証明できていないことが含まれます）ことが理由です。
選手への支払いの遅延を含む財務上の問題が明らかになった後、ライアットゲームズはTALONと一カ月以上にわたって緊密な協議を重ねてきました。更にはTALONに対し、自ら状況を改善するために必要な期間の延長を申し出ましたが、最終的にTALONは、自身がVCTのパートナーとして要求される基準を満たせることを証明することができませんでした。
これにより影響を受ける個々の選手はすでに本件に関する告知を受け取っており、各々が私たちのeスポーツのエコシステム内において他の機会を模索することが認められています。
ライアットゲームズは代替のチームを見つけるため、選択的かつコンペティティブな選考プロセスの一環として、APACの複数のチームにすでに招待を送りました。このプロセスの最終的な結果が明らかになり次第、アップデートされた情報を公開いたします。

Riot GamesがTALONをVALORANT Champions Tourから除名処分としたことを受けて、深い悲しみと遺憾の意と共に、VALORANT競技シーンからの撤退を発表します。

当チームは、Riot Gamesの決定を全面的に受け入れます。この1ヶ月間、問題解決に向けて継続的な努力と協力をしていただいたことに感謝します。発生している問題については、今後解決することができると確信しています。Riot Games社が本件に対する対応を迫られている状況があり、今回の決断について尊重いたします。

現在の財政的な問題が発生しているのは、今年の早い段階に完了する予定だった資金調達ラウンドが数ヶ月遅れたことが要因となっています。この遅延により、TALONのeスポーツ事業全体に大きな影響が発生しています。

現在の最優先事項は、所属する才能あふれる選手たちが来シーズンに新たなチームで活動できるようにすることです。選手たちの円滑な移籍が実現するよう、Riot Gamesと連携し可能な限りのサポートを行なっていきます。選手たちがポテンシャルを最大限に発揮できる環境を整えることが、何よりも重要です。

TALONは、今後の展開について見直しを行なうため、VALORANTのeスポーツシーンから一時的に撤退します。これまでの活動を支えていただいた世界中のみなさまに心から感謝します。
