RAGEについて

『RAGE』は、株式会社サイバーエージェントの子会社である株式会社CyberZが、2015年11月25日に立ちあげたeスポーツイベントです。公式サイトには、当時の発表記事が残っています。

e-Sports大会「RAGE」を新設、年間を通して大会開催へ | NEWS | RAGE | NEW GENERATION E-SPORTS

現在は、エイベックス・エンタテインメントとテレビ朝日も参画し、国内最大級のeスポーツイベントとなっています。

『RAGE』立ちあげ時の採用タイトルは、モバイルMOBA『Vainglory』でした。自分は2016年に開催された第2回大会で初めて取材に行かせていただきました。

『Vainglory』はほとんど知らない状態だったのですが、岸大河さんの実況がとてつもなくわかりやすくて、そのことを会場でご本人に直接伝えたことを覚えています

幕張メッセで開催された『RAGE 2018 Autumn』は、取材ではなくプライベートで参加させていただきました。当時9歳の息子がフォートナイトのイベントに出場させてもらって、その様子をk4senさんに実況していただいたのも思い出です。

9歳の子供、『RAGE × Fortnite de 生き残らナイト』かなり楽しかったとのこと。
