「Team Vitality」が『IEM Beijing 2026』の招待を辞退、選手の育児休暇に合わせメジャー最優先のスケジュールを選択

「Team Vitality」が、Counter-Strikeティア1大会『Intel Extreme Masters Beijing 2026』の招待を辞退したと発表しました。

辞退の理由

mezii選手(8～9月)、apEX選手(10月)にお子さんが誕生予定のため、11月予定の『IEM Beijing 2026』の招待を辞退することを決定
チーム最大の目標はメジャー大会の優勝。代理のIGLで出場することで練習時間が制限されるため、『IEM Beijing 2026』は見合わせフルロスターで出場できる大会でポイントの獲得を目指す
出場に向けて、中国のファン向けにグッズやコンテンツを企画してきた。代わりにデジタルコンテンツを提供していく

Team Vitalityは、ESLからのIEM Beijingへの招待を辞退しました。

Intel Extreme Mastersの出場を辞退する、特に新たな都市で開催される今回の大会を欠場することは、決して軽い気持ちで下した決断ではありません。Team Vitalityにとって最優先とすべきことは、選手たちが人生におけるこの特別な時期に、必要なだけ家族と過ごせるようサポートすることです。apEXとmeziiが育児休暇を取得することに合わせて、競技スケジュールを調整する必要がありました。

競技シーンにおいて、メジャー大会は最優先事項です。シンガポールで開催されるメジャー大会で4度目のタイトルを獲得してトロフィーを掲げるために、全力を尽くしていきます。

代役のIGL(インゲームリーダー)を起用して練習時間が制限される中で『IEM Beijing 2026』に出場するよりも、限られた準備期間を最大限に活用し、メジャー前の貴重なVRSポイントを獲得するためにフルロスターで出場できる大会に出場することを選びました。

Counter-Strikeに対するみなさんの情熱、そして選手たちにいただいている応援は本当にすばらしいものだと感じています。中国で開催される大会はみなさんと交流できる特別な機会です。今回のお知らせを残念に思われる方もいらっしゃるかもしれません。

この数ヶ月、Team Vitalityは中国ファンのみなさんに向けて、コンテンツ、グッズ、選手と交流できる機会を提供するために準備を進めてきました。北京に行くことはできなくなってしまいましたが、デジタルを通じてTeam Vitalityならではのファン体験をお届けすることに全力をつくします。ご期待ください！
