2025年について
振り返ってみると、2025年はサイト更新に割ける時間が思ったよりも少なくなってしまいました。
「限られた時間で自分が関心のあることをなるべく紹介する」という形にしていたのですが、結果として『Counter-Strike 2』や『Dota 2』の比重が高くなっていたと思います。
日本だと『VALORANT』が人気ですが、公式の発信が充実しているほか、取り扱っているサイトも多く、同じような更新頻度や速さで対応できません。
その点について自分のサイトでは期待されていないだろうということで、更新に使える時間が限られているならば、それ以外で自分が興味のあることを中心にピックアップしていこうということで、『Counter-Strike 2』や『Dota 2』が中心になっていったという感じです。
サイト流入について気になること
サイトの流入は検索が一番多く、SNSは10パーセントくらいです。
検索にもAI表示が導入されて、サイトにリーチしなくなるケースが出てきているそうですが、今後どうなっていくのか気になります。
SNSはXで更新のお知らせを出していますが、各ユーザーのタイムラインに表示されるには、アルゴリズムにピックアップされる必要があります。表示される機会はかなり減った感じがあります。
その結果、「これは見てもらえているのか？」という気持ちがかなり強くなりました。
URLを含む投稿はアルゴリズムで表示されにくくなるという話があり、2025年からXの記事機能を使って記事をまるごと配信する方法を導入してみました。
これで記事を読んでもらう機会は増えたのですが、お知らせが重複してしまうことや、結局X記事の方が優先表示されてしまうこと、コストも高いため今後は止めようかと思っています。
モチベーション
アクセスや反応が欲しければ、人気のタイトルや話題を扱うのが一番良いです。
ただ、それは他の多くのサイトでも取り扱われることであるのと、自分が紹介したいものとは限らないということで、このサイトでは自分自身が興味のあることを中心に紹介するという形になっています。
Counter-Strike、Dota 2は日本では残念ながらあまり人気がないですが、自分としては最高に面白いものなので、これらに関連することを紹介するのは楽しいです。
1人で運営していて時間も限られるとなると、速報性や網羅性を武器にすることはできないため、やはり運営者である自分が関心を持つことを、限られた人にでも良いので届ける形が、モチベーションとしては一番良いなと思っています。
ちょっとマイナスな感じの話になってしまったなと思いつつ、何年後かに振り返ったとき当時はこんな風に思っていたんだなと振り返ることができるかもと思い、削除せず公開にしました。
念のためですが、やる気が無くなっている、Counter-StrikeとDota 2以外は取り扱いする気がない、みたいな話ではありません！
