『Gentle Mates』の『VALORANT Champions Tour EMEA』の2026年シーズン出場決定が発表されました。

• 「Movistar KOI」が契約違反によりパートナーチーム契約を終了
• 代わりに出場するチームの選考に10チームを招待、9チームが応募
• 厳正な審査を経て、『Gentle Mates』が出場権を獲得

『Gentle Mates』、厳正な選考を経て『VCT EMEA』に出場

VALORANT Champions Tour EMEAは、『Gentle Mates』が空席を埋める形で2026年シーズンに出場することを発表します。

VALORANT Esports EMEAエコシステム内から10チームを選考に招待し、包括的かつ競争的な選考プロセスを経て決定されました。

10チームの中には、過去のビジターチームや2025年のAscension出場チームが含まれており、そのうち9チームが招待に応じました。。

選考はリーグ創設時のシステムを反映して実施され、すべての応募者が正式な申請書を提出し、以下の基準をもとに評価を行いました。

• 2026年シーズンの目標
• コラボレーション、戦略の整合性、チャネル戦略
• 運営体制
• 競技に関する計画、選手のサポートシステム
• コミュニティの共感、ファンダムの創出

これらについて厳正な審査を行ない、『Gentle Mates』が最高得点を獲得しました。
『Gentle Mates』には、すべてのEMEAパートナーシップが終了する2026年末までの1年契約を提示しました。

本年末に実施する『VALORANT Ascension EMEA』を通じてさらに2チームが『VCT EMEA』へと昇格し、2026年シーズンは12チーム体制を維持して実施します。

2026 VCT EMEAシーズンは年明けから開幕します。
すべてのチーム、ファンのみなさまをRiot Games Arenaでお迎えすることを楽しみにしています。

Gentle Matesについて

人気インフルエンサーのSqueezie氏、Gotaga氏、Brawks氏が2023年に設立したフランスを拠点とするeスポーツチームです。

『VCT Ascension EMEA 2023』を勝ち抜き『VCT EMEA』に昇格し、大きな注目を集めるチームとなりました。

『Gentle Mates』のファン集客・イベント企画のすごさがわかるエピソードとして、創設者であるSqueezie氏が開催したレースイベント『GP Explorer 3』があります。

10月3日～5日に開催され観戦チケット20万枚完売、Twitch同時配信「1,373,815」を記録しています。
